Originally dating from the 1930’s, Ingleside has been extended and renovated over the years to create a spacious family home with excellent entertaining rooms set in approximately 1.57 acres with far reaching views over rolling countryside.

Ingleside is a spacious family home situated in a stunning location, within the North Wessex Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty and close to many local amenities. Downstairs the property focuses, as is so popular with today’s family living, on a spacious kitchen/dining room. There is a sitting room which opens out from the dining area which benefits from an open fire and beautifully appointed built-in cupboards. The ground floor further offers a family room and utility/boot room which opens into the integral double garage. Situated on the first floor is the sumptuous master suite comprising a spacious bedroom and en suite bathroom. Also located on this floor are three further bedrooms and a family bathroom.
Outside, the property is approached through electric gates onto a large, gravelled drive with parking for several cars. There is a large self-contained studio to one side with a newly fitted kitchen and shower room. French doors open out
from the sitting area onto a wonderful terrace with a Cedar Hot tub fired by a wood burner and wonderful views across the open countryside beyond. The gardens and grounds are mainly laid to lawn and lead down to an area of woodland at the bottom of the paddock and there is a heated swimming pool with stone paved surround.

NB: In 2017 planning permission was granted for the erection of two storey rear extension with new traditional car port to the side of the property (West Berkshire Council application 17/00512/HOUSE). This application has now lapsed but highlights obvious potential to extend subject to a new application. Please see 2nd floor plan which highlights what was originally passed.
